Christina + Ryan decided to have their engagement session done at West Point on the Eno in Durham. They were a lot of fun to work with and so was their poochie, who cooperated very well and posed for the camera like a pro. While it was a little chillier than we would have hoped we got some really good shots of them. I am especially a fan of the ones of them with the plaid blanket wrapped around them.
Bethany + Phil had their wedding at The Longhouse in Stokesdale, NC. This was the first wedding we photographed at this venue and we were happy that it was with a couple as fun to work with as Bethany + Phil. They had a very intimate ceremony under a great, big, beautiful tree. We had plenty of time set aside for their couples portraits, and even some in the "golden hour" too!
We are so happy to call Ash and Karim dear friends of ours and we are over the moon that they want us to be there to capture their wedding day! Alex met Ash and Karim while at college at UNC Asheville AND he was there during the proposal! Get this – Ash is SO AWESOME that she proposed to Karim on the day they moved in together! Karim was certainly not expecting this but he definitely said yes in no time flat!
We met Heather and Eric at Starbucks and we knew instantly that we wanted to work with this sweet couple. They are super genuine and two of the nicest people we’ve had the chance to meet. They wanted an outdoor location to have their fall engagement session and chose the J.C. Raulston Arboretum where the light was absolutely perfect.
