Amber + B’Angelo’s cloudy engagement session at the North Carolina Museum of Art was so full of love and some seriously impeccable style! They arrived dressed to the nines ready to rock out their engagement session, which they definitely succeeded at!

These two high school sweethearts actually met in elementary school. They “dated” briefly in elementary school but ultimately parted ways. They reconnected in high school through a track & field program and have been together ever since! They’s navigated their teenage years, college, graduate school, and starting a business! Amber is a therapist and B’Angelo is a professional dog trainer through his company Pawfect K9 Services . Even though we didn’t get to meet their pupper Roman at their cloudy engagement session at the art museum, I’ve been assured they will be at the wedding!!

And I just have to tell their proposal story because it’s EPIC- they went skydiving together! B’Angelo had all of their closes family and friends standing with signs at the landing spot. B’Angelo landed first so he was ready once Amber arrived. Roman ran up to B’Angelo with the ring and as soon as she landed, B’Angelo proposed! Seriously, I could never – wha’t a whirlwind!!

Honestly I could have photographed their engagement session all afternoon. They were so easy going and they could switch from intense belly laughs to model faces in the blink of an eye. Needless to say, we got such a wonderful variety for their session! We had so much fun running around the art museum just learning about them and hoping the cloudy weather wouldn’t turn into rain. Luckily, we just got a light chill to the air and the sun peeked out for all of 2 seconds! Here’s to crossing all fingers and toes their wedding at The Meadows at Firefly Farm Preserve next year is sunny and warm. But if it’s not, these two will know exactly how to make the cloudy day shine brightly!
