Engagements

I had been looking forward to Robyn + Sam’s spring engagement session at the North Carolina Museum of Art for months. Robyn and I have become fast friends with monthly coffee dates talking about all the things in life. So to say I was excited would be a massive understatement. And y’all – they did not disappoint!!

Robyn and Sam met during their freshman orientation at Elon University. They lived on the same hall for their first year and they were inseparable! The way they interact with each other is just so sweet to watch and it’s clear they laugh whenever they are together. They love to travel together and have been to so many places together. England where Sam grew up, Hawaii, and soon they’ll be heading to Portugal for an extended trip, too! When they’re not out and about, they love on their kitty Pheonix and Robyn enjoys riding her horse.

They chose the North Carolina Museum of Art for their engagement session because they were drawn to the variety of the space! They could connect with nature while also exploring some really unique architecture throughout the space. We had such a great time exploring everywhere and I’ve honestly never delivered so many black and white photos in my life. BUT COME ON. Every image was screaming mood to me.

After their session we went out to dinner at The Oak and talked about literally everything. After realizing a couple of hours had passed, we had to say goodbye so Robyn could finish up her final exams for her Masters in Public Health. But of course we had to grab a cup of Two Rooster’s Ice Cream to go first – blackberry hibiscus always!

I seriously hope you enjoy a few of my favorite images from their spring engagement session at the North Carolina Museum of Art!
